Dr. Bo Zhou

Dr. Bo Zhou is a Senior Advisor on the Advisory Board of SensorEra Inc.
She was Partner and Senior Vice President/Managing Director at IHS Markit (now S&P Global, NYSE: SPGI) from 2018 to May 2022. IHS Markit is a global leading service vendor to provide data, solutions, research in financial, resource and transportation industries. Dr. Zhou’s team was responsible for managing senior client relationships in APAC Financial markets, as well as the commercial results and regional growth strategies. With her extensive experience in Global and APAC Financial Markets, she led the team to achieve significant commercial growth and market penetration in this region, particularly in Greater China area.
Throughout her Career, Dr. Zhou has always been a strong advocate for diversified workplace and leadership group. Late 2019, Dr. Zhou initiated IHS Markit “Women in Leadership” forum. Since then, the forum has brought many senior women executive and leaders globally to share their experience and efforts in Diversity & Inclusion.
Dr. Zhou was recognized as HSBC Top 20 Ethically Diverse Women Role Models in 2022 and Yahoo Finance HERoes Top 100 Women Executive in 2021. She also served on the judging panel of 2021 & 2022 ‘Kindness and Leadership – 50 Leading Lights in Asia Pacific’, to support the broader Diversity and Inclusion conversations happening in the region.
Prior to IHS Markit, Dr. Zhou served in various leadership positions at Bloomberg such as company director and regional business manager for its global fixed income & trading solutions in Hong Kong and New York over seven years. Prior to that, she held senior positions in Fixed Income Trading, Research and Risk Management at BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and State Street Global Advisors in the United States.
Ms Zhou holds a Ph.D. degree in Material Science and Engineering from MIT and Financial Technology Option certificate from MIT Schoool Management School. She obtained her B.S. degree from Fudan University in China.

Mark Rose is an executive with over 30 years of experience in leading and developing organizations within the information and technology services industries. Mark’s last role was Partner and Senior Vice President with IHS Markit (now S&P Global, NYSE: SPGI) leading the Global Accounts Management teams which was responsible for the account relationships with over 70% of the S&P 500 companies. IHS Markit is a global leading service vendor that provides data, solutions, research in financial, resource and transportation industries. Since joining IHS in 1998 Mark has served in a broad range of senior level business development and operational roles that contributed to IHS Markit’s significant growth. Prior to the IHS and Markit merger Mark was an integral leader in multiple acquisitions, integration and “go to market” strategies that led IHS to becoming the largest provider of energy information, interpretive software, and energy market research in the world. Mark retired from IHS Markit in February of 2020.
Prior to joining IHS Markit Mark held leadership roles at Petroleum Information/Dwight’s (PID), GeoQuest International and Grant Norpac.

Brent is a seasoned “business athlete” with his experience at the crossroad of go-to-market execution and entrepreneurship. He is especially interested in user experience and seamlessly connecting users to innovative solutions that solve real business problems.
His focus on building and growing partnerships with clients, companies, and individuals has led him into a variety of B2B and B2C verticals that leverage data and metrics to drive better business decisions. And pairing his background in finance, he now focuses on venture capital, investor relations, and connecting innovative startups to his broader network.
Brent earned a Masters in Business Administration from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
